Apologetic Proof Part 7 God and CreationThe Bible teaches very clearly that God is all powerful, and lives outside the boundaries of the universe and that he created the universe by willing it into existence.
In March 2007 Stephen Hawking gave a lecture at a Physics conference in Berkeley California, and he stated that the Universe came from nothing. He stated conclusively that he cannot explain how or why the universe came into existence, but all studies in astrophysics shows the universe in expanding, which means that it did indeed at some time in the past start from one point. Even the most brilliant minds, both Atheists and Christian, agree that the universe had a starting point, and came from nothing.
This leaves us with an exercise in logic. Did everything that exists on our planet, in our galaxy and in the universe, happen as a random accident? Even the most brilliant Atheist minds on the planet agree that the universe for some “unknown” reason came into existence out of nothing. If that is so, what or who
SpecialistsI’ve just heard the most amazing story.
There’s a little girl with autism out there, somewhere who has put specialists to shame.
She was given a test: ‘put these words in alphabetical order.’ (words like apple, and banana, etc.)
The little girl did her writing- and what she produced was this;
Seem strange? It did to them, too. And they were even going to mark her down for this . . .until one of them looked at it again, and came to a realisation that surprised them all. They found that she had in fact done exactly what she was asked. She had put each one of the letters in those words into alphabetical order.

Miiverse quote: Pic of the day. Turnips are used in the Villager's up-air and down-air attacks. Perhaps because the turnip prices fluctuate depending on the day's market, the number of turnips that appear changes every time. How cute.
Monday's picture showed Villager's up and down aerial attack, which uses the turnips from the Animal Crossing series. The number of turnips will change randomly each attack, meaning the damage output and knockback will probably also vary. If so, expect the red turnips to do the most damage.

Characters: Fixing Mary-SueThere is one trap that everyone dreads falling into, one that has become well known because so many people do fall into it, especially when it comes to creating characters. There’s a trap that’s become viewed with such displeasure that it’s actually become a bit of a stigma for writers.
It’s the Mary Sue/Gary Stu character trap.
I’m going to say this outright: Mary Sue’s are not a bad thing. They’re just poorly executed. Ninety percent of the problem with a Mary Sue, is that the original creator is simply too lazy to try and come up with a creative way of getting someone in and out of situations, and so fall back on what's familiar, which is almost inevitably a cliche. It’s an easy fix, if you’re not lazy.
Unfortunately, I’ve seen more articles about ‘avoiding’ them, more than I’ve seen anything with ‘fixing’ them. There is a difference. Avoidance does not correct the problem; it merely saves it f
LiteraryMovement Membership Form1. When did you first start writing?
I've been writing poems and "songs" since I was about seven. They were pretty bad, but then I began reading good books and actually experiencing some of the things I was writing about and I think I improved a lot.
2. Why do you write?
Mostly because I feel quite a lot of emotions that I'm not very good at expressing externally. I prefer to make bad things I feel into things that aren't so crude-sounding. It also gives me a chance to process things and understand what I'm feeling. It's a distraction as well as a motivator, and it's also something that feels a little bit like validation. I'm not good at very much other than being vain, so writing kind of makes/made me feel like I could do more than just sit there doing my makeup. Also, I write on dA because I like being exposed to a community that isn't so biased or judgemental. I think the wider an audience, the better/clearer idea you get of what good writing actually is.

Spoilers and Everything: The Sixth Sense
The Sixth Sense: A film about a boy who gets haunted by a ghosts.
This is the film that started off the film carrier of 'M. Night Shamalayn. So what went wrong? Everyone loved his stuff, and now everyone hates him.
What a downfall he had...
Today, I shall review the infamous Sixth Sense.
The story is about a young boy named Cole who apparently can see dead people. How 'bout that.
Cole is surrounded by the ghosts of dead folks. He sees the dead everywhere, and only tells this to Dr. Malcolm.
The movie is pretty scary at times, but really it just relies on cheap jump scares.
Cole runs from ghost.
That really isn't scary. It's just sorta lazy.
What is scary, however is the description of how it feels to have a ghost near is. Getting a chill at the back of your neck and getting colder. Nice and scary. And the thing about the environment getting colder is used a lot.
And the look of the ghosts are really spooky, too. You can see how dead they
Maskings in the Makingsthe only people I give thanks to for their face departments are those who have had plastic surgery. If I met a face outside of the plastic surgery brigade, I'd have make an informal request for that faces' parental address and go and thank them....If parents had passed on I'd have to see a medium.
